I unlocked my storm and it works but on the main screen it shows "Activation Required" will it ever say tmobile or at&t?

It should. Have you transferrd your service books and all? I'm not too familiar with unlocked devices but that's just the first thing that comes to mind

No Im just going to sell it so I didnt want to transfer over my service books. I make and receives calls and same with txt.

If you plan to sell it leave Activation Required. More valuable. It shows it has not been activated and used.
BUT to change it the buyer will need to dial ## 000000 send, change the mobile directory number to their number. The phone will reboot and no longer show Ativation Required.

Hey guys, new to the website but I'm also interested in unlocking my Storm. Well, my back up Storm. (for selling purposes) I know how to get to the screen to enter the unlock code, but have yet to find a way to get that code without paying someone a bunch of $$... Would any of you folks be able to help a brother out??? Thanks guys!

Tried that... they tried to tell me I had to call them back with the SIM card that I wanted to activate it on. I told em that I was sending it overseas to a friend so I had to unlock it first before sending it.
