ok So I just bought a used unlocked 9530 from a friend of mine that had it for Verizon. At first, it kept freaking out and not letting me select things and would bring up options and things all over the place. I thought maybe it had water damage that he didnt want to tell me about so I left it in rice overnight.

luckily, it works now. I have at&t so I put my sim card in and it works, for the most part. texting is ok. the internet and facebook work. but for some reason, I cant send any mms messages.

under network technology its set at gsm/umts and for network mode its at 3g&2g anything else doesnt seem to even acknowledge the sim.

also, every so often the upper right corner display goes from EDGE to edge. periodically. is there anything I can do?? Everything ive found mostly discusses tmobile. which is of no use.
