I know there are several How To's in the forums, and in fact I followed one to every detail. But when I go to transfer it using the Desktop Manager it always stalls out half way through the process and tells me that the file can't be transferred. Anyone else having this problem, or know how to correct it?

I just connected to my phone as a storage device and drag them over to the memory card.

thanks, I'll try that. Is there an option on the phone that you have to change to make it the storage device?

That's exactly how I do it. I can't even get Media Manager to run without crashing.

Goto options->memory and change the option that says Mass Media Storage to either Yes or Prompted. Then when you plug in the storm to your computer, you'll get 2 new drives which pop up. One is the media card, the other is onboard memory. Either can store the movies in the videos directory.

That, or pull the memory card out of the phone and plug it into a memory card reader. I picked up a high-speed one at Best Buy for cheap a while ago. Has a micro-SD slot on it.

    Quick and easy.

My media manager is grayed out and will NOT work. Using the mass storage option, however, works great and I feel like I'm watching a tiny lil' HDTV. LOL. Thanks for the help people.
BTW I find that the update to .75 this morning has REALLY made my phone more responsive.

Memory card reader wasnt working for me... but THANK YOU garath! That worked flawlessly. A movie that I stoppeed in Media Manager after 2 hours and was only 33% done, transferred in just 13 minutes!

    Thanks a lot fellow Crackberryers
