I disabled data services on my Storm like somebody suggested. This seems to block emails, and web browsing, however my phone still recvs texts with data services turned off.

Can I block texting from the Storm, or do I need to call Verizon to do this?

    Thanks.

You would need to go to settings and set up a firewall

Calling Verizon I think would be your best bet.

they are not data but you will charged out of your 3rd point on contact you can call vzw and have it blocked the firewall will just stop your phone from getting them you will still be charged unless you call in you can get the global data plan wich i think is 60 bucks and have unlimted data granted you have to activated you sim to do so i belive all in all its 160 but you will have unlimited data the reason i say this is you can block all you sms and mms and use bbmsg and other inxtan apps and not get charged
