I recently received notice from the DM that I could update core applications, and did so rather hastily and without checking into the actual procedure/specs of the suggested upgrade. Now when I check the downloads folder on my Storm, it reads that I have Blackberry 4.7 Core Applications for the Blackberry THUNDER Series...

If this this anything to be concerned about -- possibly contributing to many headaches with the .90 OS, e.g, and if so what should I do to make my Storm a Storm again?

    Many thanks in advance,

    FS

Wasnt Thunder the internal name of the Storm for RIM?

I think "Thunder" is the name for the 9500, whereas the Storm is the 9530. Hence my concern...

No thunder was the storms "code name" . Nothing to do with 9500 or 9520 or 9530.

No, Thunder is the internal name used for the Storm series(9500, 9520, 9530) If you're on almost any of the leaked OS's open up your applications in options and click on BlackBerry 4.7 Core Applications, it should say "Core applications for the BlackBerry Thunder Series" that's because they are internal dev releases where they would label them as Thunder, and not the consumer name Storm.

Well isn't "code name" kind of like "internal name"?
