ive read plenty of post by bb users who wish to hide pics that they dont want others to see while look thru ur bb storm...

so if u want to hide any of your crazy, naughty, nsfw, funny pics, this is what i have come across.. hope this helps!

there are two things i found useful:

1. hide individual photos
2. exclude folders

1.
to hide individual pics, you want to:
>highlight pic n click bb button
>scroll to and click 'properties'
>check box that says 'hidden'
>then save

to recover your hidden pics, (from your home screen)
>click 'media'
>on media main menu, highlight pictures & click bb button
>click 'explore'
>click which folder has your hidden pic and click until it shows thumbnail pics
>click bb button and click 'show hidden'

bada bing bada boom and there are ur hidden pics!!!
to make them visible, simply go to properties and unmark the hidden box n save

2.
you can hide a folder of your pics by doing this..
>click 'media'
>click pictures
>click picture folders
>click bb button
>scroll to 'options'
>in options, highlight the 4th option, 'exclude folders'
in this option you can check the boxes of the folders you want to "hide"
>then save

to find them again, just do the same steps and uncheck the boxes..

The trick is to name the folder with a subject which, because I so frequently talk about this subject, everybody around me becomes bored to tears each time I bring it up anew. not too sure about the porn videos.. but you can tell me how to get some porn vids on phone.. hahaha but anyway this method of hiding ur pics is probably the best way to go about it.. and i never really heard of filelock but ill check it out

I tried hiding a folder but the check mark would not come up next to the folder name. I can't check any folders at all.

In the Bold there is no save option that I can find after I select the folder I want to hide. All contents still show up after I select that folder. Any ideas?

Ok, here is a question for you (or anyone who has an answer).

I had a folder on my media card with questionable images the wife would not appreciate seeing. lol So I decided to hide the folder. I did not follow the route where you click exclude and check/uncheck what shows up. I'm almost sure I just highlighted the "Fun" folder, pushed the BB menu button and somehow told it to hide that folder. Now I can't find it anywhere. If I bring up the exclude list, it's not there because it is hidden. I wondered if I accidentally deleted it instead, so I tried to add a new folder called "Fun". It said the directory already exists.

So, since it is still there but hidden, anyone know how I can unhide it? TIA

super...have you tried "exploring" from your main media screen? I know when i was playing around hiding and unhiding photos that messed me up. It wont work right if you are doing it from the pictures folder...you have to be on the main media screen.
