When does the NDA usually get lifted before a phone release? I'm waiting for Crucial to cough up the differences between the 9500 and 9530.

AWESOME!!!! Can't wait till they come out, the wife and I are making the jump from Nextel to VZW just for this. We are sacrificinf the PTT But we are tired of the lack of phones and the new Curve isn't gonna cut it to keep me on from this 7100i

I'm not sure if this is completely right, but after watching the internal promotional video Verizon sent out, it seems like the screen is still touch sensitive before you even push in. They showed a finger running over the keyboard and the letters lighting up blue around the finger. So I think hovering your finger(s) over the screen will use multi-touch but the whole screen/button just works for selecting things like keys, or on-screen buttons.

Went to local VZW store today, my trackball had to be replaced. Anyway, they didn't have any dummy Storms there yet. Rep told me to check back with them every Friday for info??

BTW, don't count on it for Oct 1st! However, I do appreciate your wishful thinking. :-)
