When texting you can push the BlackBerry button twice to send!! For thoughs of you who took a class or who actually read the directions..... Nevermind......
lol i've always used this since day one
its useful -- i mean, its good for saving a message (if there's no TO: box filled in), or when in the browser, you can double click the button to go to the 'go-to' screen . . .etc.
just shows you how little people actually get in here and read
and this is the post of the day.
We have stickies, a whole section with a couple threads with common problems and tips and nobody takes time to actually read the wealth of knowledge that is in them. They rather post a new thread, clutter up the front page and get flamed
That's hardly a trick at all. Press the BB button to get the menu, then press the BB button to select whatever is highlighted. Just so happens to be highlighting Send already so it opens the menu and selects Send.

Lol, the things some of us take for granted (because some of us have always done Sends like this).
Here's another quickie. Set your Initial call screen to be Call Log. That way if you missed a call, it's just a couple of clicks away. It also helps if you constantly call the same people. They will always be in the list. Also, now that you've done that you only have to press Dial Pad button when you need to dial a direct number.
With this set up, to call someone from your contacts, Hold Send for a couple of seconds. This takes you to Dial From Contacts, then slide your finger up from bottom of screen to bring up keyboard and start typing name. Hit Send on the right name match. (this one's kinda my way of replacing Dial From Home, which I loved on my 8830.)
