Is there no way in the Storm to have a few QuickTexts saved?

For "Hey man, how's it going?"

I put "Hey man" as the quick text if thats what you're asking

On my old Treo in a text you could pull up a list of quick responses. Like...

"where are you?" Be there in 15min and so on...

This phone does not come with preloaded quick texts, but you CAN create your own.

If you go into Options > Auto Text > BB button > New, you can create your own quick texts. First you tell it what short keystrokes you would want to type, then on the next line you tell it what you want that quick keystroke replaced with. (For example: "syl" could be replaced with "See you later.")

When you are sending a text, you would just type "syl", followed by a space, and the phone would automatically replace it with "See you later."

Another work around is to use the Memo Pad.
Add a Memo only using the Subject line.
    then save.

when you want to send it click memo pad, Highlight what you want to send, click blackberry button and then click forward as, select sms and send.
