Anyone try tethering their Storm to Vista and/or XP machines via Bluetooth? I had it tethered using BlueSoleil but I only had the trial version which capped my transfers at 2meg.

Not to mention, I had a friend who just got the Samsung Omnia, and he claims that he found a way around paying for the extra fees associated with tethering.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Tethering via USB or Bluetooth would not change or have any bareing on if tethering will be free or not. That's embedded in the Qualcomm CDMA chipset programming (which can be changed if you know what you're doing and how). Yes, you can get around having to pay for it, but I don't think anyone here will tell you how. It is generaly easier to do it on a WinMo device because they can be easily manipulated to do whatever you want them to do. It takes a bit more finesse with a Blackberry, but this perticular capability can be enabled as well. It was documented a long while back on how to do it.
