Why is it that sometimes an app I have my home screen will show up in the Switch App screen and other times not?

I would say it depends on whether or not it's running. If you close the app it should go away and if it's running it should be there.

and by "closing" she means to hit the bb button and actually hit the "close" button. Just backing out or hitting the end key will not close the app out.

Browser, home, msgs, phone (+ bb msgr & certain 3rd party apps, if u have) always display. Easy access.
