I find myself hating the tap zoom feature. If I'm on the web and want to tap on a location and the position doesn't highlight and I tap again it zooms. Then, i again tap it to get a location and it zooms again. Is there a way to disable the tap zoom and just use the magnifing glasses...

Are you dragging the your finger to center where you want to zoom in on, and then double tapping on that location?....like your suppose to?

I'm actually having the same issues. I'm having a hard time opening links because whenever I place my finger on the screen to highlight a link (hovering), it zooms instead. I read that the zoom is supposed to be a double tap, but if I just touch the screen lightly my Storm automatically just zooms. When I'm trying to scroll around a web page, rather than moving the copy up, down or sideways it zooms instead. It's very annoying and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
