Ive had a Storm since it was released back in November, Vodaphone very kindly gave me one for free on a 12month contract.
However im now on my 2nd storm and i think i may have to return it.
The first one would freeze after calls and id have to pull the battery.
i recieved my second on on Monday just gone and now the screen goes black pretty much after boot-up and it takes me 3 attempts of rebooting before it works for a time, this is probably a faulty handset.
But i was wondering if theres anything i can do to help reduce crashes?
I only have one or two applications and other than balckberry chat i dont use many applets during the day except for the ocasional net browse and FB.
i dont have many pics or other media on the phone.
Suggestions?
Im hoping it will be 3rd time lucky with my storm or i think ill get a bold.
Strangely im not pissed off about it but would like as working phone :-P
I know you are new, but I would upgrade the OS before sending it back. This might fix your issues, especially if the battery, the screen and the clicking are all good on the unit.
