    Just wondering if I would e able to get the storm and unlock it for TMO since I see that it does have their frequency built in ?

    Ummm to my understanding you can buy one from over sea's and get it unlocked however this is just what iver heard....

    Most recent news is that both the storms are built with the same chipset. Just a matter of what's locked/unlocked. So you *should* be able to pick up the 9530, unlock it, and run it on tmobile,a EDGE network.

    It partly makes sense... because the Verizon 9530 Storm is a world phone to the extreme! The only question is whether US GSM frequencies are locked down or not...

    If the freqs are not locked, then this whole idea would hold true

    Does this mean, assuming I can get an unlocked Storm, that it doesn't matter which one I get? In other words, is it correct that an unlocked Storm will work on any of the major networks?

    The press release said it's Quad band GSM for Verizon too.. so they will not be locked
