My Storm will randomly power off and then back on again.

This generally happens when a new message is received.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

lots of users (myself included) have had 'random' reset problems. I returned my initial storm because of the problem. Search the forums for discussion of this issue.

I had this problem only after having my new Storm for a week along with a delay in screen changes( portrait to landscape). I have verizon service, and when I called they instructed me to download an update for the storm and that there would be periodic updates coming out.

I tried the download and that seemed to work like a charm. My phone is now quicker to rotate and it hasn't shut off yet.

man, I have the same problem and verizon give me the same line..... It's crap... I have updated everything and now the phone resets about 10 times a day... verizon won't replace it saying that "They are all doing that" and that I have to wait until the next update and MAYBE it will fix it.... HELP
