I have my Storm set to save messages for 30 days but it seems to still delete them a day later. Is there a box I might of unchecked or checked? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How is your memory? When the memory gets too low the phone starts deleting texts and messages.

Amavit is correct. It's probably a memory issue. Take the back off your phone, take your battery out for a minute, put it back in. That should help. Do that every few days.

My memory is fine, I've had the phone for a day. Had to order a new one through insurance because someone stole my first one . I will try this tip. Thank you.

That's about 35MB - memory shouldn't be an issue here.

Go to options, memory, and see what your application memory is.

If you have a lot of apps open, you may cause problems.

On the main screen push and hold the BB button. the window that opens shows the open apps.
The phone, messages, browser, and BB messenger, are always open.
you can close any others and that will free up space.
Also, do a battery pull everyother day or so.

Options > SMS Text. Change Number of previous items to a higher number. If that's not it, double check your sms folder and see if the txts are there or not.
