OMG everytime my screen dims and locks on my storm slider, when i go back to try and use my phone again it just stays there on the black screen! and i would have to do a battery pull but after the pull it does the same thing when i leave it to idle. help please!

You mean the storm slider app? If so try uninstalling it then reinstalling it and see if that helps

i did a security wipe and it's the same..

hopefully getting a new battery will work.. the battery i got is from my friends curve which we swapped because it seemed it was messing up his phone.

ok so i just found out the screen is just black but the phone is fully functional..
