It's that age-old thing called "bragging rights". There is no wisdom whatsoever in it... Just so someone can say "I got mine first."

I bought my Curve early this year, and I plan to wait for my new-every-two to purchase a Storm. I just can't get that excited over every new gadget that comes out. Sure the Storm looks nice... But I will do my usual thing of sitting back and waiting while the rich folks pay for the "privilege" of working out the bugs.
