    My Storm is awsome. I need guru level help!

    Fact 1 (8830 on BES Server)

    Fact 2 (I bought a new Storm)

    Fact 3 (I don't want it on the BES Server)

    After doing a backup/restore to bring over my contacts, an IT POLICY followed(copied) to the new Storm.

    There are no known restrictions that I can find while using. Although, The require password is REQUIRED.

    Fact 4 ( It has not been connected to the BES)
    Fact 5 ( Under Advanced Options the BES Activation has not occured)

    Where do I find the IT Policy and how do I delete it?

    I never intend to connect to the BES again.

    Here is a post on removing an IT policy from your phone.

    If you are using Desktop Manager, I would uninstall and reinstall to remove any setup options in it that are looking to work with a BES.
