Hello,

I;ve had this Storm for 2 years and it worked perfectly. However, I travelled to the US 2 days ago. When I got here, I put my US sim card in it " It is unlocked" and I connected it to a laptop. I then installed the new DM and it asked me to restart so I did. When the laptop turned on again, the BB was off, the LED was flashing once, then 4 times.

At that point, I tried everything.

* I left the battery out for a full night.
* I tried resetting it using the apploader.
* I tried JL_CMDR...

Nothing worked....Since there was NO way the blackberry was connecting to the laptop.

Plus, I tried this on 3 different laptops. 2 Windows, and 1 mac.

Is it dead?

It sounds like it may be bricked, but if that is the case you should be able to fix it. See the link below:
