    i just got a storm 9530/ when people call there is some kind of orchestra ringback. how do i get it off??????

    log into your verizon account and then find manage ringtones and ringbacks

    or click on the VZW tones icon that they push to your phone set it up and you can change them from the device......i just prefer to do mine from the computer

    Do you mean your ringtone, or Verizon's Ringback tones. Ringback tones are heard by the caller when they try to reach you, and is setup and removed by Verizon. To set the ringtone that YOU here, you go to your Sound Profiles, either by clicking on the speaker icon at the upper left of the screen with the phone in portrait, or clicking on the Sounds App on your Apps list.

    I'm having the same problem as the OP i got a new S1 when my other one crapped out and now my new S1 has a ringback and I didnt put it on there. How do I get rid of it?

    I logged into my verizon account but it wont let me get rid of the orchestra ringback. I just want the standard ring that you hear if you call someone. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

    On the verizon website, go to ringback tones in the media store, go to manage drop down and choose ringback tones. It should give you the option to choose between the classical tone, the standard ring, or something you purchase. Hope this helps.

    I went to that and it doesnt give me a option for standard ring. I only have the classical tone. Or atleast I cant find the standard ring.

    Call Verizon. This is unrelated to Blackberry and the Storm. There is a charge for ringback tones, if you didnt order it, call so you dont pay for it.

    I don't know if it is free or not, but I called customer service and they got rid of it. No more classical ringback. THANK GOD!
