When it arrived today the battery had some life in it as the phone was turned on. I turned it off, whacked my sim card in, turned it on and started to play. I plugged it into the charger so it would also charge however after about half an hour the phone turned off. I pulled the battery waited for a minute, put it back in and tried to turn the phone back on. The red light came on for about 10 seconds then it went off and on the screen there is a battery with a lighning bolt going through it. This lasts about 10 minutes then nothing is on the screen and it wont turn on.
I've repeated this process a few times now.
Is the charger faulty do you think or is it just that battery is dead?
If I brought a new battery or charger is going to make a difference?
Update, I made sure there was pressure on the charger connection and left it, i think it started to charge as the green light started to flash. I left it about an hour, checked it and the green light had stopped flashing. I tried turning it on but nothing.
