Let me say I searched the forums and nothing worked. I have a storm and am running a hybrid OS ( I think it is 6V8?) A couple of days ago my message indicator icon appeared and it has not cleared since. I have marked all of my messages as unread, and then read. Nothing. I have done multiple battery pulls. Nothing. I have deleted all of my messages (my sms and emails are separate folders). Nothing. I have changed themes. Nothing.

Someone please help me!!!

Try going to messages, Options and then either "View Folder" or "View Saved Messages", your unread message could be in either.

Hmmm. Try bringing all your messages into a single Messages folder

In Messages -> Options -> General Options ->
Hide filed messages : No
Hide sent messages: No
SMS and Email Inboxes: Combined

Then save and go back to the messages folder, highlight todays date, options, "Mark prior opened"

Tried that also...just tried to not display unread messages, and then display messages, and still there!!! I have tried everything i can think of, and it is still there
