How do i change the background when i write a sms text message? The font is red, other boxes are all different colors and the wallpapers a skribbled mess..how do i fix it?

Probably because your post doesn't make it clear exactly what you are talking about. I can't speak for everyone, but I can safely say MY SMS screen looks NOTHING like you describe. Perhaps if you attached a screenshot of what is going on, it would help others help you.

I, personally, have never seen a "background" for SMS. Here's a few things to check out:

1. No one has any idea why "skulls and scribbles" is the thread title. It should be "SMS Viewing Problem" or something like that.

2. You need to tell us if you're running a theme, and if so, what theme.

3. What "other boxes" are you referring to?

4. Do you have your font set the way you want it?
