This is new....
At the top of my screen it now says sim card error....
Nothing seems to be different..
Everything still seems to work fine...
What is this all about?

Call up VZW global and register your SIM card and that error will be gone.
Another way is to go to Mobile Network under Options and change Network Technology to 1xEV.

I've had this happen to me before. Did a battery pull or 2 and it eventually went away. Never messed up the performance of the phone though.

if you are not leaving the country take the sim card out...don't need it!!
