Is it possible to set different alert tones for different notifications? For example, my ring tone is a song, can I have it vibrate for email and text notifications while leaving the song for the ring tone?
I find that using a song for the ring tone I need to have the volume at "loud", but then the notifcation alerts for email and text become very annoying being that loud.
yes go into the sounds menu scroll down and select set ring tones/alerts. this will allow you to set different tones/vibrations for mms, sms, calls, email, apps, etc... and you can also select different volumes
if you want different vibrations for different things, select custom, and a menu will come from that and you can select length, how many times, etc.
