Hi all !

First post so I thought I'd make it an easy one (I hope). New to the BB scene and just getting to grips with the Storm.

Everytime I send an email from either the BB or my email online I get the email sent to my inbox as a new message.

I'm guessing all I have to do is change something to say 'No' but can't find where it is.

Sounds like you have yourself cc'd. I'd check the emails settings on whatever email your using (yahoo.gmail,etc)

I've had a look and can't see anywhere that I have. It only does it when I send an email via the BB not on my gmail account.

what are your email settings set at on the storm?

confirm delivery yes/no?
confirm read yes/no?
send read receipt yes/no?

There are tons and tons of threads about this same problem. Please do a search for the fix and it will solve all of your problems.

sounds like you are using Gmail
If so you have to log in to BIS and create a filter to not have those sent to the device. There are several threads on here to guide you to do that if you need. I'll try to find a link to post back

Inside of messges, BB-options-G options combine. The hide the email folders, so that you only have a messages folder showing.

I'm guessing that you have BIS setup. there are a few ways to go about resolving this issue. the "best" "cleanest" way is to set up filters (search here or google) from your BIS site to "block" messages into the main "inbox". hope this helps.
