searched and couldnt' find anything: sometimes when locking my phone the screen won't dim, and after it happens the first time it won't dim at all until I do a battery pull. This is with .83 loaded. Never happened to me before. I'm just worried because obviously it is suckin extra battery life if it stays lit. Anyone else have this problem or better yet have a solution? (other than a battery pull, which I will resort to for now)

Mine had the same problem after installing .83. A battery pull seemed to fix it.

It's not that I get it all the time, this is my 3rd time so far with .83 so it is repeating but the battery pull is the quick fix. I guess I was just wondering if anyone else is getting this (is it a bug with .83, or just with my phone)

I had this problem too after getting into .83 , I soft reset it and I havent had the problem since (knock on wood)
