so i have ghost armor installed on my phone, I dropped my phone today about 10 feet onto a concrete slab. For those of you that have it installed there are small gaps where the armor does not really fit. Well for me my phone managed to hit every single one of the those gaps on the chrome bars. Anyone notice that when the bars get scratched there black underneath like rim took metallic nail polish over the plastic? So my question is anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? i am thinking just take metallic nail polish and paint over it?

I removed all the chrome trim from mine :-)

cnn.cn has the chrome one if you would like to replace yours and they also have a black one if you would like that too.

how do you replace it? and you can make the black one easy just use some steel wool on it and it takes the chrome finish right off. i am not sure what my best route is

are u sure the rest of the phone is alright from a 10 foot drop??? i think the chrome would be the least of my worries

so let me hear some success stories of people switching out the bezel.
If you do change from the chrome to the black will that void your warranty?

I bought a skin from decalgirl, so my chrome is covered, and better looking =)

I would be guessing yes, it does void your warranty. anything you do to your phone, that your carrier does not, auto voids your warranty. such as any other product on the market for anything. alterations = bye bye warranty.


Although, I'm very very Intreagued about the black bezel. I think it makes it look kinda slick. but I'm not one to tamper with something thats worth over 500 bucks. lol

well, i guess if you switched bezels successfully and you need to take your phone in for warranty you can switch back to the chrome one.

ya round 1o feet, phone fell cover and battery went flying. Ghost armor held up amazing!!!!!! wish now i would have taken the 2 extra hours and put it on the chrome!!! after looking at my phone i dont even know how i would take old bezel off!!! i am waiting for someone to post who has done this.
