I tried searching this before posting, just every way i worded it i came up dry.
When you are a saving a number into your contacts it defaults to work number....is there a app, or way to bypass this and give you options on where to store the number i.e. work, mobile, fax etc...???

This is a blackberry thing. It will save all numbers to "work" by default, as BlackBerries are primarily designed for work. The only solution I know of is to save it and go in and edit the contact changing it to whatever you'd like.
