For the past 2 days I keep getting a pop up from Windows Installer that says it is trying to install/update Roxio and it requires a disk.

I DELETED Roxio! I don't have it because I don't use it, but WI keeps trying to do something with it.

And hitting cancel on the pop up boxes is futile. WI just starts running it again -- and again -- and again.......

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks
    Robin

The best thing to do with Roxio is to download the version of Desktop Manager that does not have Roxio. I have found that this is the best way to deal with this particularly nasty piece of software.

To get to this happy state you may well have to reinstall DM with Roxio and then uninstall it all via Control Panel. Finally you should install Desktop Manager v4.6 with no media manager.

Download this and install it. Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

Then run it and check for listings of Roxio and remove them with the tool. That will fix your problems.
