    So I was on desktop manager today and it told me to update so I did, and then it restored my phone and now I lost all of my contacts.. is there a way I can get them back?

    It's supposed to. My friend updated up her STORM earlier today and it never backed up or restored anything...

    My Curve did it automatically twice..

    WOW did I luck out. My AT&T sim card had all my contacts and I still have my 8310 from AT&T. SO glad I never threw this sim away OR sold the phone yet.
