OK, I used the blackbery desktop manager to backup 3rd party software by using the device switch wizard trick (especially publishers that realy don't support re-downloads, can someone say EA Mobile).

Anyways, I have the game i wanted to install on my phone, "Downtown Texas Hold Em' from again EA Mobile. Now when I try to select the game in the Application Loader menu the checkmark disappears. Does anybody know why this happens?

Are they all saved to one folder? Is there an .alx file?

yeah, the whole backup consisted of one folder named my pin with a single alx file. inside the folder is a bunch of files with the same alx file.

Go to the apploader, start it and then it will pull up the app list. At the top, choose browse then select the .alx file and click next and you're good to go.

Well, I get this error when trying to load the alx file outside the folder, "The application is not compatible with your device and cannot be loaded. But all of the games that I backed up at the time are showing, and some can be selected.

I had this issue when i had 4.7 before, i think I used another computer and it worked. I was just curious if anybody else seen this when backing up and restoring 3rd party software.
