So my call and blackberry LED was going. they would dim and and black out when i help down the "back" button. essentially breaking a circuit. anyways, i ordered a replacement since i was an original owner and it was under warranty. they said i'd have a new 9530 by today, monday. so fedex came around noon and to my surprise they sent me a 9630. So I have a new tour now! Just thought I'd share for anyone else in a similar situation. Mistake? probably, but who cares!

tour? hmmmm not much of an upgrade is you ask me....do you really like tiny screens.....

Tour has 256MB of app mem, so I guess it's a slight "upgrade" (still no WIFI or OS 6 support)...but I'd still want a Storm. Now, if they had sent you a 9550, then I could see a reason to be excited.

Of course, both the Storm and Tour I believe have been discontinued by Verizon, so they're probably just happy to rid themselves of either one I suppose.

i like the tour better than storm, and am due for an upgrade in September anyway. i was done with the lag on the storm

Fair enough...I may have been using a 9550 for too long to remember the full Storm 1 experience!
