Hi all! I type a lot in Italian from my phone and I'm always having trouble with spellcheck "correcting phrases". Is there a way to enable my storm to either recognize this input and not spellcheck it or download an italian dictionary so it spellchecks in Italian :-D. Thanks a bunch!

Hehe I tend to email my italian teacher, browse the wordreference forums, and email an italian friend :-D. The key is to avoid texting, because you can't use the wonderful accent feature the storm has.

If you still need an answer to your question, there is a way to cancel the spellcheck in an email once it starts. This way you wouldn't have to disable the spellcheck altogether, in case you want it to work for emails sent in English...
When the spellcheck for an email starts, if you press the BB/Menu button, you can cancel the spellcheck for that email.
