on my replacement storm... there is no email set up option (I am on BIS, but when I go to the setup wizard it only lets me chose BES), there is no application center, there is no AIM, googlechat, etc. in the instant messaging folder.

what am i missing?!

I had a similar problem so I went to the Verizon store and got it up and fixed in about 20 minutes. Hope you are close enough for that. Gud luck.

yeah i will have to do this... wasn't sure if i just missed something about replacement phones, and when i got my first one they set it up for me so i wasn't sure if i just didn't know what i was doing... ahhh

wish I took notes of what they did.... When I asked him he said something about going into the resource files, what ever that meant. Sorry I don't have more infor for you.

More than likely you got somebody else's returned BES unit and all that freaky stuff was removed/locked out. With the backlog that there is on this product I highly suspect that replacement = recycled.

YAY i was waiting on the phone with verizon for a tech guy and it miraculously fixed itself! everything just popped up! wooohooo
