My screen will sometimes go dim while I'm using my storm for different things. I have the backlight set to 50 and timer at 20 second.
I can't do anything to bring it to normal brightness when it happens. It will go dim and stay dim until it finally decides to brighten up again. Anyone have similar problems or know how to fix this?
Currently running .148

I do not believe that this is a bug with .148, as I have noticed this very issue, with .75, .109, .131, .141, and .148
I only notice this when I am using the phone outdoors and depending on the actual sunlight varience, the screen will sometimes dim or get brighter, depending on the degree brightnees of outside light / glare.

The screen is supposed to get brighter in high-light surroundings (like while you're in direct sunlight), and it is supposed to then dim again when you are in darker surroundings (like when you are indoors).
I have noticed no difference in setting the Auto Dim to "off". I am wondering if this just means that the screen is never supposed to dim below what you have its brightness set to.
For example... if you have the backlight set to 50, and you go outside, it should get brighter. The device is designed to respond this way. However, when you go back inside, and the screen dims, it should never dim below 50 since that is what you have it set to.
I have not been able to confirm this theory, but it is the only thing I can think of that turning the Auto Dim off would have any affect on.
Upgraded from .75 to .148 today and i'm also having problem with brightness of my screen. Also please help someone, i've lost my contacts, is there a way to only reinstall contacts back to my phone, everything else is good. Thanks
