With the Tour giving ppl some issues (trackball, screen ripple, few other things) would it be wise to purchase one from ebay???

Meaning, if I buy one from ebay, I cant have it insured thru Verizon can I? I'd hate to spend a couple hundred dollars on somethin that has the potential to be flawed and not have any insurance to get it replaced if thats the case!

It can not be insured through Verizon. I wouldn't buy on eBay, if you are willing to spend that much just spend a little more and buy from Verizon.

if you do buy from ebay it is possible to extend the warranty with square trade
