OK, got the replacement Storm today from VZW. Phone being replaced due to excessive dust and moisture getting under screen...
I hooked up my old Storm to the laptop via the USB cable and connected it to the Device Manager program. I did a Back Up then proceeded to run the DEVICE SWITCH WIZARD.... problem is I keep getting an error (computer tries to send report to Microsoft). Any ideas? I need to get all my info transferred over to the new phone.
I ended up updating my DM to the newest version and it finally allowed me to switch devices. However, some of my apps did not make it. This is a pain if it has to be done very much due to faulty phones...
I now have to call a bunch of places to update my PIN (once I get the new phone activated... cannot get VZW online to load today for some reason...) so that my apps will work.
