For those of you who downloaded and upgraded to the .76, what have you noticed?

Anymore speed dials? Apps? Camera issues? ETC?

Not too much of a difference for me. I didn't have problems with the Storm out of the box, but I have updated to .75 and no .76 and don't see a huge difference at all.

Everything installed without a hitch. There isn't a noticeable difference between .75 and .76 from what I can tell.

So then it would appear to be that .75= 76? Or is there any difference at all? Check to see if proper ring tones work. Especially with texts. Also check camera

I might just be high , but it seems to me that the typing on .76 is a little faster. With .75 I would be getting ahead of my words, but .76 seems to be keeping right up.

I just noticed that my ringtones are working correctly now with .76. When I had .75 sometimes they wouldn't go off when I got a SMS/MMS/email, but now they do (fingers crossed it stays like that)

The Report .76 (BELL)

After finally getting this update to work, Here is what i've experience with it.

Portrait to Landscape Transition:: .76 - Slower
Portrait to Landscape Transition:: .75(leak) - Faster

Camera Access speed (right side button):: .76 - Faster
Camera Access speed (right side button):: .75(leak) - Slower

Home Screen Icon Access speed (Msg,Media,etc):: .76 - Slower
Home Screen Icon Access speed (Msg,Media,etc):: .75 - Faster

Landscape Menu Scroll Speed (jittery,sluggish):: .76 - Slower
Landscape Menu Scroll Speed (Still jittery, but):: .75(leak) - Faster

Picture Thumbnail Scroll Speed:: .76 - Slower
Picture Thumbnail Scroll Speed:: .75(leak) - Faster

Browser, etc... skipped. Enough is enough.

Conclusion : Now reverting back to .75(leak)... .76(BELL) more less felt like a enhanced version of .65.

I stopped the downgrade, since VZ possibly may come out with the offical .75 tomorrow

so weird that you all are experiencing it being worse. I had a lot of issues with the install, but after doing a full wipe and installing .76 with a fresh installation of DM as well, its considerably faster in all areas then .75
Camera is much much much faster, rotations are faster from portrait to landscape and back, typing is much much faster (though i dont know why) the media manager is much faster where thumbnails pop up much quicker, all in all everything is better and solid on my end...maybe im just lucky

I think some people are disregarding the daunting failure in .75. The fact that if you have a custom ringtone set and the profile is on Vibrate All that the device will not vibrate but rather ring for that contact.

This is no longer the case with .76 which is a huge sigh of relief not to mention that I fail to see anywhere that .75 excels over .76.

mine seems to be working better unlocks and locks faster camera seems to load faster. cant tell if screen rotates faster but its definitely not slower. and since i went to .75 my text rings weren't working, they are now.

I can attest to this. Typing is much better. The blue glows seem to be keeping up with my key presses much faster than .75 and .65.
