Before the storm I understood the operating systems, now I don't at all, there is a confusion and when I read more I got more confused, I don't understand the deal with the desktop manager downgrading me..is it good to downgrade or not, I get my storm rtomorow and I want a good experience

People (including myself) downgrade by installing the software that is on the CD. We do not read everything and end up downgrading. Do not downgrade, it will cause lag. OS 4.7.0.65 Platform 4.0.0.82 is what you want... for now. If you do downgrade by mistake you can upgrade back to the original platform. Install the the CD then before doing anything install this OS 4.7.0.65 Platform 4.0.0.82. That way you do not downgrade by mistake. You can also update online Online update. This requires IE.
