Does anyone know how to keep the phone keypad on when making a call. My wife does on-call nursing and has to dial into the office, puch in access code and then other buttons for messages, etc. When she makes a call the keypad disappears. I assigned the left convenience key to toggle the keypad on and off, but she would like it on at all times. Is this doable???

I would also like to know the answer to this. I've looked through all the options but can't find anywhere to configure this.

bottom left of screen while in a call, click the show keyboard icon after you press send.

if you have a call lock app. you will have to unlock it first then click the show keyboard.

i don't think you can keep it on permanently though

Thanks. I knew *how* to get to the keypad, I'd like to know how to make it displayed by default instead of the call status screen.

if it's a number you call often you could program the number with pauses and option #'s into speed dial.

it's something to make it easier

Yup, but again, that's not what's being asked.

    Thanks for playing.

I have my lefty as the virtual KYBD, but this doesn't fully help. Look on the apps listings for ones that have "LOCK" in their names. One of them will lock out pretty much everything during a call - this may work for you all. I counted two on a quick look. Here is the link http://forums.crackberry.com/f134/bl...thread-107305/
