Okay, whenever I try to download and install the new OS onto my phone :: I get a message saying that the OS on my phone right now is newer, but it's not.
It's usually related to the fact that you are trying to install a leaked, non-official version. If you're connected to the web, DM checks what is the latest official release for your phone (and vendor I think, but not sure). If you disconnect from the web (and make sure you have removed vendor.xml) the installation will go through fine.
