How do I turn my spell checking back on for my storm, i already searched forums, some quick assistance please its driving me nuts...please help.....

I know that, checked that everything should work but the spell check isnt working for sms....it does work for email... and no im not high or drunk, i suffer from a really bad memory, two weeks dowwn the road i will remember how to do it but at the moment its driving me nuts

EDIT: I recall reading a little bit about how disabling sms and mms spell check to gain some speed, but i dont recall what it was i did, either way it doesnt work at the moment
