So here's my issue. I have a work email account, and a personal hotmail account synced up to my phone via BIS. I'm looking to receive no notification that new mail has come into my hotmail, but all other messages should notify me as usual.

When I have the phone on normal volume, I'm pretty sure this is working. If I go to vibrate only, the phone still vibrates for all messages. I only get LED notification on texts/BBM/work email which is good, but I don't even want the vibration.

What and how do I have to configure things to get this desired notification configuration?

Anyone else have a setup like this? Am I missing a setup somewhere?

I had this same problem. I created a custom vibrate profile that took care of this for me, and I could specify everything that I wanted to alert me for with vibration, and everything that I didn't.

Takes a little time up front, but works well.

And then instead of using "vibrate only" you use "my custom vibrate mode"?

No other way around this huh?

Was I right that when sound is on, the "extra" email accounts alerts do nothing?
