It's a long story but my Storm got stolen while I was in LA and had to get one sent from Canada (since my service plan is over there).
I did the restore and everything looks good.
The problem is that I have two email accounts on the phone. One is a hotmail address. The other is a telus.blackberry.net address. So on my main screen there are three messaging folders (main messages, hotmail, telus).
Even though there are no emails in either the hotmail or telus folder, I still get the notification red symbol that there are new emails in there. I have wiped all three folders and I still can't get rid of the notification. It says there is (1) email in each folder but there isn't.
I called the service provider for support and he had no idea. I don't really want to risk doing a complete wipe and then only restoring my address book.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to get rid of these notification symbols?
