Okay, so I searched and couldn't find anything about this. Has anyone had issues with their Storm not charging in the dock while connected via USB? I used to have no problems charging via USB, but now that I have introduced the dock my phone is not charging. On top of that, it doesn't display the clock (yes, the option of displaying the clock while charging is on).
Is the white light bar on top of the dock lit up? I've had issues where the clock will be displayed but the phone doesn't charge. This usually seems to be due to the phone not being pressed snugly into the dock. I normally use my dock with the wall charger though.
I have noticed on a few occasions that the phone won't charge when it's hot. I first had this issue when driving and using the phone for both GPS and to stream radio while in a plastic holder, which caused the battery door to get really hot and the phone wouldn't charge. Once the phone cooled a little it charged just fine.
