I think you can use the Orb workaround for XM same as Sirius users have been doing. The only difference is you need to download UXM instead of USirius. Go to http:// forums.crackberry.com/f86/how-stream-sirius-your-storm-instructions-included-101140/ (fix URL) and follow those instructions but I would download UXM instead of USirius and see how it goes.

Yeah I have Orb and XM set up and I have it set to O&A all day long....works great!

Got ORB and UXM working!!! This is way to cool.

Also, got moodio.fm working - now I can listen to local talk radio when I'm sitting in the DR with parents!! YEA

i'll add this here because we're talking about orb. If you get a tv tuner, you can also watch TV on your storm by using orb (or other BB). a good example is pinnacle products (google).
