Just looked through all the Contacts and Ring Tone settings on my VZW Storm, and I can't find a way to set a specific ring tone per contact. Is there really no way to do this? Only one ring tone, period? Even this has been a standard feature in VZW phones for year now.
Yes, thanks for the info. On my Bold I was creating exceptions manually to set custom ringtones for family members and a few select others. What a pain that was.
My ringtones are just announcments of the caller's name. I create them with TextAloud. For family members and the select few I may just change them all to "Important Call" instead.
But whatever i do, you info will make it a lot easier for me. thanks again.
