I've never seen that. I have the circle, but not the 4 "bars" that are on the right of it.

gps location is on

just the circle means that the gps is E911 Only
circle with the signal things comming off means Location On

location on lets you use the gps for bb maps and what not.

Another question, have any of you seen the 3G logo, I have never seen it on the phone only the 1xev, even when I have 5 bars. Other verizon members have 3G logo.

1xEV is the CDMA symbol for 3G. GSM networks use the 3G symbol. From what I understand Verizon 1xEV is more like 3.5G.

I think it is suppose to be crosshairs like they are targeting your location. The signals coming out of the target are saying they are broadcasting your location. Just a guess anyway, it really makes sense in my world.....really it does

I downloaded and have been using it since they came out with the Beta version the other day. I have not had to pay a fee to use it. It works great, other than the known issues that you read about when you sign up.
